This natural and organic shampoo is completely free of man made chemicals such as Cocamidopropyl Betaine (a detergent that acts as a base known to cause eyelid dermatitis amongst other allergic reactions); or SLS (known as Sodium Laureth or Lauryl sulfate), which is another detergent used in many shampoos known to be a skin irritant. Also free of Hydroxypropyltrimonium (a synthetic used as a thickening agent) nor any other potentially harmful chemicals;

shampoo is leaving a gunky film on your hair

I have very healthy hair and it used to shine. I am always open to try new products as long as they meet the criteria of being organic, chemical free and environmental friendly. The first time I used this shampoo my hair felt sticky and unclean and after my hair was dry and I brushed it, the bristles of the brush were covered with a white sticky, oily film. The second time I used the shampoo I made sure to rinse out the shampoo very well but the end result was the same. This shampoo smells wonderful and uses all natural ingredient but leaves the hair dull, heavy with a greasy film.
