Mint shampoo

Cocamidopropyl betaine is derived from coconut oil, is non-toxic and is used in Johnson's Baby Wash. Since it is plant-derived and not a man-made chemical, they are able to list the shampoo as chemical-free. This shampoo is great for color-treated hair.

Makes my hair feel normal

I am proundly sensitive to chemicals but I can use this quite well. Even my son who is not sensitive uses it. It cleans our hair in just one shampoo. I also use the conditioner to keep my dry hair soft.

I looked into this shampoo because it was chemical free, and I've happily stayed with it for over 5 years. I've been devoted to this organic shampoo and my hair went from chin length, chemically dyed, thinning, breaking, dull hair to now butt length, thick, virgin, shiny, almost invincible hair when I comb it because it does not break much. It is difficult for me to find "split ends" anymore (FYI cut your hair every 3 months at least), and this shampoo started to turn it all around for me. This shampoo has cured severe dandruff, this shampoo made my hair growth optimum, removes build-up without drying the core of your hair like other shampoos, and has the most hair-growth friendly ingredients list of herbs and oils. Oh, please STOP USING CONDITIONERS on your hair. I had discovered my hair shaft was thinning when I used conditioners because of the chemicals. My hair became stronger when I stopped using conditioner and only used shampoo, surprisingly. I have had success using coconut oil or vaseline in a tiny amount to help detangle hair and add moisture, so these tricks can replace what you thought your conditioner was doing. To avoid the reoccurence of dandruff and to avoid over-drying, I made a watered-down daily shampoo. I water it down 1 PART SHAMPOO TO 7 PARTS WATER, and it works great with a little shaking up prior to using it! To increase your hair growth, I have had great success adding kitchen herbs, spices, or essential oils to my watered-down shampoo rinse to stimulate hair growth and even sprout new hairs! Some people also make a separate "hair rinse tea", but I combine my herbal tea into my shampoo to save a step and it works just as well. Do your own internet searches, and add the words "hair growth" to investigate catnip (thickens hair), cayenne pepper (stimulates growth), black pepper, rosemary, cinnamon, sage, chamomile, green tea, tea tree oil, aloe vera, and you'll find many others... or any kitchen spice that you think smells great probably helps with hair growth due to its nutrients! You'll really love your shampoo from Organic Excellence, a little goes a long way, and you won't find another chemical-free alternative shampoos that feel and smell as great! People have had BAD results from soap nuts, shampoo bar soaps, and supposedly "fast" hair growth shampoos loaded with chemicals. Organic Excellence... they couldn't have picked a better name, and I'll be a fan for life!
