The best curl booster ever!

This is the best Bedhead product for curls. I've used Curls Rock and Foxy Curls along with other curl shampoos on the market and this is superior. I have shoulder length, thick, course and frizzy, slightly angled wavy hair that I've scrunched with a difuser for the last 25 years. Usually by day 2 the curls are flat and dried out looking. With this shampoo and conditioner I have body, softness, much less frizz and a wonderful, full head of curls. It is certainly a curl booster as claimed. Everytime I find something that works, it winds up being discontinued or altered. Leave it alone...it can't get any better.

Didn't work as advertised for me

I have shoulder length, curly hair from the Welsch side of my family. Not sure if that's relevant but I have found that my curly hair differs from others. It is fairly course on top, finer underneath, curlier on top and underneath and wavy in between. I've been told by hair dressers that it is courser than most white people's curly hair. I've tried countless products through the years, but have disliked most of them as they dry out my hair and create more fuzz in the long run. I was advised to try sulfate free products. I researched on Amazon, and found most of them have sweet almond oil in them, it seemed, and I'm allergic. This product by Bed Head did not have almond oil in it, though I was dismayed at the long list of chemicals in the ingredients list, but it had two good reviews, so I ordered it.It has not worked for me. At all. I've gotten better curl definition from $2 store brands that weren't designed or intended for curly hair, than with this Bed Head brand. My hair is big, and soft (not in a good way but in an undefined way), fluffy and fuzzy. I even got comments from male co-workers that my hair was "puffier" than usual. Good thing I brought a rubber band and could do something with it because it was out of control. I thought maybe my hair just needed to get used to it, but I've used it several times now with the same results.The ONLY thing this shampoo has going for it was that it made my scalp and hair feel good in my hands, not dry and/or itchy at all, like with most other shampoos. There is no heavy, gunky residue feeling either, so I gave it 3 stars just for that, which is worth something. I may or maynot use the rest of this bottle. I won't be using it when I want really good looking hair, such as before work, but it may serve for an after work out or weekend wash. I won't be ordering again, though.

I recently decided to embrace the curl in my hair, so I decided that I needed to go with this, and even though this shampoo doesn't lather as well as some of the others and has an interesting smell, it leaves my hair soft and reduces the frizz, all while enhancing my natural curls!! I love this product and I will buy it again!
