Does what it says!

Well I brought this for my mom's hair, and it does what it says. First I DC her hair with Shea Moisture's Deep Treatment Masque and Olive Oil. Then I rinsed that out and used this shampoo. Rinsed out the shampoo, and followed with the Carol's Daughter Chocolat Conditioner. Then I rinsed that out and put some of Carol's Daughter Chocolat blow drying cream in her hair and blow dried it in sections.The result: smooth, soft hair! She didn't even have to straighten it, but she did anyway. And it's still relatively straight after 3 days. She has 4a/4b hair that usually dry and feels like straw. Finally, it doesn't feel like straw and it shines like no other!

What a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!

First of all let me say that I gave this product one star, because it does straighten your hair, however it is lasting a lot longer than 72hrs. I am African American, my hair is not relaxed and typically it is very kinky. I've washed and washed my hair after using the Chocolat Smoothing Collection by Carol's Daughter, and it remains straight no matter which shampoo I use or how strong the detergent. It has gotten to the point that my hair remains partially straight and partially kinky. It took me so long to grow my afro, and it looks like I will have to chop it off and start from scratch. Please test this product on a small section of your hair, to make sure it will wash out, if you wish to go back and forth from kinky to straight.

Seriously, I cant emphasize how much this product has done for me. My hair has been black to blonde and completely fried/damaged. I thought I had no hope. My mom bought the whole smoothing kit (Shamp/Cond/BlowDryCreme) and I decided to give it a try. After one single use I fell in love. I let my hair airdry and it came out feeling like absolute silk, no flyaways and a dramatic change in the overal texture of my hair. This shampoo is sulfate free but Ive found it lathers pretty well? It also smells amazing... Another thing I wanted to point out is that i have fine hair so i was worried about my hair being weighed down but it still was left with volume. Cant say enough about this.
