It's true it MAY dry your hair a bit, but never fear!

I have hard water and I've used their Weekly Demineralizer packets with some success. My particular hair is very thick, somewhat coarse in texture and it holds a "beachy" wave fro after a shower. I have medium brown hair that I've had three treatments of blonde foils. They look amazing one week, and a brassy mess the rest. I ordered Weekly Blonde packets and used Malibu Hard Water Wellness shampoo first. This time I only left it in for about ten minutes and at this stage your hair is very dry and brittle. It's very 'squeaky' clean at this point. Combine a heavy, nourishing conditioner and leave it on for a few minutes. Rinse with cold water almost as cold as you can bear it. The cold water closes the hair shaft, increases strength and decreases breakage I usually let my hair air dry instead of squeezing moisture out with the dryer. The next day your hair should feel smooth, and strong. Impurities that easily attach to blonde should have come off revealing more true to color hair. If you've tried the 10-min soak do the 60: Get a plastic high-lights cap and put it over your hair while it's got the gel on it. Use your hair dryer and heat it up. The heat is integral to getting harder impurities out of your hair. Definitely use a heavy conditioner I personally use nou nou.

We have rusty water and it makes my blonde color treated hair get orange tones to it. This stuff once a week does the trick- removing the build-up without stripping or drying out my hair. Amazon's price is a phenomenal deal as I know that my salon uses this on customers and charges more for one treatment than amazon charges for the entire box of 12. Thank you once again Amazon!!!!

I have blonde hair and have forever been plagued by staining from our well water.Our water doesn't stain anything else but me. I used to have to repeatedly colormy hair to restore the color. This product eliminates the staining if used as directed.It's the only product I have found that does.
