My labrador puppy has seasonal allergies and itches like crazy. I decided to give this product a try because of the reviews I read off from this and another big pet company site. Now, it is not a cure-all but in combination with her medicine, this shampoo has stopped all the itching. It smells great and her coat is super soft and really shiny. I will be buying it from amazon from now on because the price here cannot be beat!!

I have two maltese that I groom myself and it is a chore. For bathing alone it is first shampoo then a conditioner and you have to make sure not to scrub too hard so your don't tangle their hair. Then additionally you need to spray their hair with a detangler and then dry them and brush them a certain way all to prevent further tangling and matting. I have tried everything under the sun to make this process but nothing really makes a big difference. Until Now! I stumbled on this product by accident. I thought I would give it a try. I am sooooo glad I did! This shampoo has cut my grooming time in half! I saw that because I don't need to use some of the products I previously used to keep their hair from tangling and then also smelling fresh. So, not only do I not have to break my back by applying all these products at bath time but I also don't have to do the whole routine of drying and brushing them a certain way. They are basically wash and go after using this product! I do a basic pat down with the towel and then let it air dry or if its cold I will blow dry them but don't have to worry about doing it slowly so that I can run a brush through at the same time so it doesn't mat or tangle up. Here are the things I have noticed so far:1. It smells amazing and my dogs smell like they just got out of a bath for days! This is without an offensive chemical smell to it.2. It makes their hair so soft and silky. I have never ever had anything that has made my dogs hair this soft and silky.3. It saves time and money! Not only am I cutting my grooming time in half by eliminating all the conditioners, detangler sprays, freshening sprays and the whole brushing and blow drying process to prevent tangles but, I am saving money on all of the extra products I would have to use.4. One of my dogs has very sensitive skin so I have to be really careful what I give him and how I handle him through the grooming process in general. This stuff has been wonderful for him.This is my new go to product. I will NEVER ever use anything else. I hope it stays around forever.

I tried this on my Pug instead of our normal MagicCoat Oatmeal shampoo. She doesn't really have an itch problem, but since most pet shampoos are aimed toward some problem or another, I usually just go w/ anti-itch. This stuff is fantastic! After one application (you might need to Repeat if your dog actually has bad itch problems), my dog's hair was the softest and shiniest it has ever been. Plus, this shampoo is a no-sulfate, no-paraben formula (I assume the entire line is). It smells great, too!
