Quite possibly the worst shampoo I've ever used!

Doesn't lather well and leaves my hair feeling greasy and unclean. Glad I bought it with a coupon and paid so little for it!

Fragrance. Really?

I recently purchased Finesse Clean and Simple Shampoo for Normal Hair. As I have sensitive skin, I was glad to see such product available on the market. The idea was a great one but the final product has missed the mark.I am quite dumbfounded that this product contain fragrance considering that fragrance is known to be THE primary sensitizer in skin and hair care products and dermatologist have always told patients when shopping for products for sensitive skin to avoid those containing fragrance first, then dyes. As for the Finesse website which attempts to side step their inclusion of fragrance in their sensitive skin product by stating that the fragrance in Clean and Simple Shampoo is somehow 'ok' because it is a "hypoallergenic fragrance" is ridiculous. The term hypoallergic is meaningless and vague at best and isn't a recognized definition by the FDA. It is a term created by skincare industry dermatologists to infer that a product has fewer ingrediants likely to cause sensitivity, much like "non-comedogenic" is meant to indicate a product not likely to cause acne.The number of people identifying themselves as having sensitive skin continues to rapidly rise and as a result the greater number of people with sensitive skin means the list of ingrediants which can cause sensitivity is now longer. More human diversity means greater variety of ingrediants causing sensitivity as everyone is different. No company can truly claim its product WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT cause sensitivity or acne! It can, however, do everything possible by removing all known primary allergans from its products.So this leads me to my primary questions: Why include the one ingrediant known to be the greatest sensitizer to the most people, fragrance, in a product for sensitive skin? As this is a known factor, why include it? Changing it to a "masking fragrance" won't help because this is just a fragrance by another name added to hide the original base chemical scent which may not be pleasing. Adding a herbs to add fragrance such as lavender or lemon won't help because these are sensitizing herbs. So please just leave the fragrance out all together. Vanicream has successfully made a truly sensitive skin haircare line in its "Free and Clear" line yet the scent is still pleasant although very basic. However, for someone with sensitive skin, we'll take 'basic' over itching and hairloss. Clean and Simple was a great idea and could be a fabulous product if Finesse would take the critical step and remove the fragrance.

It leaks because of the bottle cap and not the fault of the sender. The top was doubly encased in plastic and it still leaked. About 1/3 of the shampoo was gone......I've been looking for a shampoo that won't make me break out and this seems ok, however I don't care for the "fragrance". I'm adverse to shampoo that smells like fruit rather than flowers. It reminds me of a disposal. How about a flower scent for a change ? I don't like to smell like food.........I will continue to buy it because it doesn't have the caustic ingredients that macerate my scalp.
