Jonathan Product Shampoo Add Moisture Moisturizing Shampoo is made with hawaiian white ginger and papaya extracts blended with rosemary/sage essential water to gently cleanse as sweet almond protein helps to improve the appearance of dry, damaged hair.

Fantastic Shampoo

I have used Jonathan Shampoo for years and have had a wonderful experience with this product. Many people, myself included, that haven't used sulphate free shampoo think something is wrong since you will not have the same volume of suds. This is a light shampoo and is meant to be used with a conditioner. If you read Jonathan's website, he recommends wash then condition and once completely rinsed, rinse again in cold water to cool down the hair for styling.I love the fact that I'm not hurting the environment, it is hypo-allergenic and doesn't have all of the caustic chemicals that all the other have.As for the smell, I think it smells light and fragrant. Perhaps the other two reviews here received a bad batch but I have purchased from Sephora's and Amazon with no problems for 5+ years.Highly recommend!!!

Jonathan Shampoo not so great this time

Jonathan products are my absolute favorite except this purchase. The vendor provided an inferior product,the add a moisture shampoo, as it smells very old. I will only purchase future Jonathan items directly from his site. Have been using this for 5 yrs. First time to purchase on amazon.

I'm well aware of how sulfate free shampoos perform...sulfate-free is probably the only positive note to this shampoo. Completely dried my hair out, goes on my hair like a handful of Elmers glue. Scent is unpleasant, I really don't know how this, and the coordinating conditioner (Condition, Add Moisture) ever made it to market.
