OH NO-Sodium Laureth Sulfate

the number one ingredient is Sodium Laureth Sulfate.....although it does not say so in the description...so it comes up when you do a search for sulfate free or organic.....shame on you Nature's Gate

2012 new formula I am thinking

Sometime in 2011 Natures Gate seems to have changed formulas on some products -- at least the daily cleaning shampoo which I previously used. This Hemp Nourishing Shampoo for dry or frizzy hair (mine is neither really) was giving to me by a friend. It actually works extremely well for me, hence my looking it up to buy more. It lathers a lot and rinses very well and I don't need conditioner. So very happy with all that.********BUT, the bottle still lists Sodium Laureth Sulfate on the label -- the second ingredient. So for those of you that care (and yes, I do too and didn't bother to read) that's kind of a killer. But, this new version seems to be much better than these old posts lead one to believe. So I wanted to post that news. I gave it four stars for the quality of the shampoo taking one off for the SLS although I probably won't be buying again because of that.

On my and my wife's hair (she has wavy euro hair, I have straight and fine euro hair) this shampoo leaves a residue, doesn't lather well and makes our hair more dull and tangled. It also seems to be giving me the rash that I used to get from conventional shampoos. I won't be buying it again and I'm not sure whose hair this could work well for.
